Paris Hilton & Hip Hop Duo TBNY’s ‘Unexpected Friendship’

October 18, 2008 at 1:03 am | Posted in Music | 4 Comments

Last August, Paris Hilton’s hair brand ‘Dream Catchers’ held their launching party in which TBNY was the only Korean star invited to attend.

The meeting between the two parties dates back about a year. Paris Hilton became acquainted to the duo when she visited Korea last year and by chance heard their song. And after Paris Hilton returned to the States, she considered herself to be a fan of TBNY members, TobBob and Yankie, thus inviting them and taking a picture with them at the launching party as a sign of friendship.

However about to end album activities during that time, both TBNY members couldn’t attend. Only Yankie attended while TobBob promised to meet her next time.

TBNY’s company who was surprised by the invitation stated, “We knew about their friendship but didn’t know about the invitation to America.”

TBNY who made their come back to the world of popular music after 2 years and 6 months, released their 2nd album in July with the title track ‘Hey DJ’ composed and arranged by Epik High’s Tablo and featuring the vocals of 3rd Coast’s Han So Hyun.
