Epik High’s new album ‘Love Scream’ was result of the artists taking on the challenge of producing a ‘Low-Fi’ analog record.
On the 30th at the Gangnam CGV Theater, Epik High held a showcase for the new album, ‘Love Scream’ where they revealed the process involved in creating the album. “Until now our music only revolved around the electronic genre because the band was comfortable with it,” stated the group.
“Lately our voices have been inserted into an effector for our new tracks,” said Epik High member, Tablo. Also, “The beautiful sound of the piano, drums, and sounds of this world along with our usual instruments [were used]” said Tablo while conveying their new use of instruments.
Epik High’s second album made a name for the group in the electronic music world with it’s highly popular tracks, ‘Day Of Peace,’ ‘Fly’ and ‘Paris’. But this time with ‘Love Scream’ and its analog sound, “people not machines create music for the sake of people.”
