Lee Hyo-ri Too Ill for Award Ceremonies

Hospitalized for acute pneumonia and excessive fatigue, K-pop diva Lee Hyo-ri will be absent from all the year-end award ceremonies. Her representative MNet Media reported that Lee has been diagnosed with pneumonia, malnutrition, and over exhaustion, and has been ordered by her doctors to take at least 10 days of complete bed rest.

Lee’s condition has forced her to cancel all her appearances, including the year-end music award ceremonies. During her preparation for her first solo concert, she has lost 7 kilograms due to a bad cold and fatigue. She had also appeared on her regular spots in various shows despite her bad health.

Deeply disappointed at missing out on the ceremonies, Lee said she’ll think only about getting well and returning to the stage healthy and well-rested.
