Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon & Kim Bum Selected As The “Korean F4″

A decision was finally made regarding the cast of Korean version of popular comic, “Boys Over Flowers.”

The leader of F4, Tsukasa Domyoji will be played by Lee Min Ho, the role of Rui went to SS501 band member, Kim Hyun Joong, the role of Soujiro went to Kim Bum and finally, Akira’s role went to T-Max member, Kim Joon.

The comic has been published in 17 countries and there have drama’s produced in Taiwan and Japan because of it’s popularity.

In the meantime, the Korean version of “Boys Over Flowers” is scheduled to broadcast on KBS2TV in December.

  5. AHH~ i hope their acting will be up to scratch because i loved the Japanese HYD and im buzzing about the movie.
    I heard about this months ago and i got excited about see who might be acting in it, but i didnt expect these guys lol.
    I hope they get someone decent to play Makino (Yoon Eun Hye please!)

  16. i don’t like the actors in BOF now, hyun joong isn’t a cool rui here..he has to be taller than tsukasa, as seen in the manga…the fashion is a lil off as well…i hope the plot was much better, but it turned in wrong places….

  20. I just finished watching the 1st 5 episodes and I was like sooooooo entertained… its so funny… Lee Min Ho carried the role very well… and the other F4 members are way too hot… Kim Bum has the cutest smile in the entire world… TWO THUMBS UP for the casting…

  25. IMO, Lee MinHO is the best “Doumoyoji” ever! I never expected that he could be very good in portraying the role. Everything about him as Joon Pyo is WOW!! . And I like Oguri Shun as Rui. He’s also very good.

    AMAZING acting I like this drama version better than the japanese or the tawainese (yeah im pretty surprised myself because I didnt think that could happen)

    Lee Min Ho is the best person for this role…kinda reminds me of jerry and Matsumoto jun in acting but has a little bit of something diffrent.
    Eitherway its an amazing drama so everyone take a look at it!

  52. korean version of hana yori dango is the best compared to taiwan and jap! lee min ho’s character fits perfectly as ‘domyuji’ in the comic version of”hana yori dango”, from head to toe! awsome character and personality, cute when he is jealous and scary too but in a funny way. one of the best series i have watched. every episode is funny. outstanding performances from all the casts especially lee min ho. love him!~

  57. I have watched both Japanese and Taiwanese (Meteor Gardens 1&2)versions. I can’t wait for the next Korean episdoes in MySoju.com. All versions are entertaining. I like Taiwanese Barbie. She is not overacting, compared to the Japanese and Korean actress. But all three girls are beautiful. The actors and actresses are all convincing. I hope the Philippines will do their own version. I want to see either Maha Salvador, Toni Gonzaga, or Anne Curtis, to play the lead role. Luis Manzano (lead), Jason Abalos, Micah, Derek Ramsey, etc… Cherie Gil or Cherry Pie Picache to play the bitchy mother.

    korean version is the best for me, i was laughing almost all the time, unlike the other versions. i think it’s because of Geum Jan Di. =) there’s something in her that makes me laugh. lol

    that naughty girl is crashing your car with her jaguar .

    AMAZING acting I like this drama version better than the japanese or the tawainese (yeah im pretty surprised myself because I didnt think that could happen)

    Lee Min Ho is the best person for this role…kinda reminds me of jerry and Matsumoto jun in acting but has a little bit of something diffrent.

  542. Of all HYD film adaptation, Korean Boys before flowers is the best, storyline and everything is cooler, the cast, the clothings r much better. Next is Taiwan’s meteor garden and most similar to the manga though I should say for the casting and acting back then, they r really great, I remember how they really boomed out all over Asia and last one is Japanese version of Hana Yori Dango, it’s not into the nuance as good as the others, but I still enjoy it.
